This is a nice story about a guy who kicked around aimlessly as a teen, was homeless for a while, then worked at a restaurant. No, you aren't gonna see this coming. He decided, with no training, to try his hand at art and made a collage of JFK, then got that restaurant to hang it on the wall. Someone paid $14,000 for it. And so he made more collages... which caught the eye of some Toronto Blue Jays players, which led to Jose Bautista buying a bunch and commissioning more, and now the guy's a very, very successful artist. The lesson here is to try whatever catches your fancy, because you never know. (CBC)
