All The Same, Let's Take An Uber
-
An INRIX study says that New York drivers spend 107 hours a year searching for parking, and L.A. drivers spend 85 hours doing the same, and San Franciscans 83 hours. I don't believe the L.A. figure for a few reasons: It doesn't take THAT long to find a space, there's plenty of valet here, most of the L.A. region has big open parking lots, 85 hours is a LOT of hours... and, hell, if this is a big issue, how is San Francisco not on top of the list? You ever try parking in San Francisco? Philly's not even in the top 10 even though people PARK IN THE MIDDLE OF BROAD STREET because there's no place else to put your car south of the handful of garages near Kimmel Center? Nah.
