This article explains that there's really nothing wrong with cursing, considering that the only reason those curses ARE curses is because at some point someone decided that they were. But using those words when, say, you stub your toe can help you cope with pain. There's science behind that. Same thing for swearing while you're, say, lifting weights -- it helps. And, finally, sometimes, a curse word is better for communicating a thought than any other word. So, if someone tells you to stop swearing, you can tell them to go F themselves.
