Every time a brewer is bought by a larger beer conglomerate, we ask the same question, and so it is with the sale of Anchor Brewing to Sapporo: If you know a "craft beer" is now owned by a multinational brewing conglomerate, do you stop drinking it? Has, for example, Anheuser-Busch InBev's ownership of Goose Island made the beer taste different? Or MillerCoors owning Saint Archer, one of my favorites? How much does the ownership matter?
