Though Her Wrists Are Slightly Sore From All The Slaps
-
The woman who allegedly hit and killed a cop who was clearing debris from the highway in Minnesota was allegedly under the influence and texting while driving, which is infuriating enough, but she also has over 20 criminal convictions back to 1987, and was driving after her license was revoked, but -- this is insane -- she'd only had to serve a year and a half in prison. Why so little? Turns out it's all about premeditation. If you MEAN to kill, you're going to spend more time in jail. Merely doing things that you know are likely to lead to someone getting hurt or dying is not enough. WHY NOT? (KSTP-TV/St. Paul-Minneapolis)
