The End Result's The Same

It was a sad story about a dad in Massachusetts who was stung to death while blowing leaves in his backyard. The initial reports blamed bees. Now, the experts want you to know that the culprits were more likely yellow jackets. That's probably more accurate, although I don't think it matters to most people. Anyway, since yellow jackets have nests underground, so when you're doing yard work... um, since you won't see them until it's too late, there's nothing you CAN do other than "be careful," which kind of means nothing. You're vulnerable. Maybe just hire someone to do the work for you. (Boston Globe)
