Meet a popular peanut and churro vendor at Dodger Stadium. He's been doing it for 43 years; he started at 16 because he needed a job, and he never left. He now does his own goofy YouTube videos and everyone in the sections he inhabits loves him. He's not the first vendor at Dodger Stadium to gain fame; he's following in the footsteps of the legend Roger Owens, and, yes, I used to see Roger all the time at the park and caught several of his double-peanut-bag throws. And far from decrying how a simple vendor can become locally famous, I think it's awesome. They elevate a mundane job to entertainment. More power to 'em. (Los Angeles Times)
