All of the health studies we see can really leave you thinking everything is bad for you, but this article qualifies the recent report that regular, vigorous exercise like running is bad for your heart because it causes a buildup of plaque in your arteries. Turns out that a) it's true, but b) it's not bad for you. Wait, what? Yeah, it turns out that it's a different KIND of plaque, which is more calcified and stays where it is rather than being fatty and breaking off and blocking blood flow.
