Hollywood Jobs Are Already Insecure Enough
-
You can't feel sorry for the sexual harassers in Hollywood. But what about the collateral damage, the people who work on the sexual harassers' movies and TV shows and are losing their jobs when the projects are cancelled? Do you feel sorry for them, since they're not responsible for the harassers? Is if different if you know someone's sketchy and his reputation precedes him, like Woody Allen? Also, it's Hollywood -- shows get cancelled and movies abandoned all the time. You're not guaranteed anything. But when it's yanked away all of a sudden, it's traumatic, so: sympathy or "that's show biz"? (Los Angeles Times)
