What would be the worst thing someone who owns a restaurant in Miami could do for his business? I mean, besides allowing vermin to run all over the kitchen? In the case of the "Salt Bae" -- that chef who became an Internet star by his salt-spreading antics -- his Miami restaurant is now facing a rough future after someone went back and found a picture of the chef dressed as Fidel Castro. Even now, generations after the first wave of exiles came to South Florida, even the remotest hint of sympathy for Fidel -- even as a joke -- is the kiss of death. Probably should have deleted that Instagram post BEFORE opening a restaurant in Miami. But that would require something too many businesses don't do: homework on the market. (Miami Herald)
