If you're a real candy fan, you know that what we know here as a KitKat has a mutated set of cousins in Japan, where they keep releasing weird-flavor KitKats, from the standards like green tea and wasabi to cherry blossom, cough drop, even gold leaf. Candy aficionados go out of their way to get especially limited-edition flavors. I wonder why they don't do more of that in the U.S. I mean, I don't WANT a wasabi KitKat, but it IS good publicity.
