Actually, Being Alone All Day Is Kind Of An Upside
-
This mom wrote a list of the downsides to working from home, namely that you're always "at work," you're expected to handle household chores as well, you have many bosses, and you still have to watch the kids. As a non-parent who works from home, yes, you're always "at the office," and you do have to clean and cook, but there's also being alone all day, which is not for everyone. On the other hand, you can basically make your own hours, your commute is from the bedroom to the home office down the hall, you don't have to share a dirty kitchen, and -- this is key -- you have a clean, functional bathroom to yourself. Don't underestimate that. (All The Moms/USA Today Network)
