A woman with dementia was placed in a nursing home, but her family says they made sure she could take her beloved cat with her; it's basically her therapy animal. So she checked in, but, she says, the nurses quickly replaced the cat with a robot. The cat was sent to a staff member's house. The nursing home alternately claims they never agreed to allow the cat and that the cat caused a staff member to suffer allergies. Either way, it's sort of cruel to take a dementia patient's cat away. (CTV News)
