Upper Or Lower Bunk? No, Thanks, I'll Sleep On The Floor Instead
-
Washington State University did a report on safety issues, and one of the things they plan to do is to put guard rails on bunk beds so students don't fall out of windows. No, really, that IS a problem. You roll over, fall off, and right out the window. I imagine most people get guard rails on their beds only when they're still in cribs and then when they're in hospital or nursing home beds. Even without the window part, though, rails just seem like a good idea on bunk beds in general. You don't want to fall off in your sleep, whether it's contained in your room or not.
