Make Me Feel Better And I Won't Care Who You Are
-
Many women have said over the years that they would prefer to see a female gynecologist, and over time that's become more common. In fact, whereas in 1970 only 7% of gynecologists were women, that's now 59%. Now, some men are complaining that they're being frozen out of the field, and that diversity -- including gender-based -- is valuable for the discipline. On the other hand, if you're a patient, you want what you want. So, is there value in males becoming gynecologists or are those days over, and is that a good or bad thing? (New York Times)
