It Always Comes Down To Money, Doesn't It?
-
This column sets forth all the reasons we board airplanes the way we do, meaning that the boarding order is set by reasons other than efficiency. Frequent fliers, credit card holders, people who paid for early boarding, people who need pre-boarding help, and, of course, the race for overhead space because they charge for checked bags... it's pretty much hopeless, so we've all given up, haven't we? We can wonder why they don't just go back-to-front and window-to-aisle, but we know the answer. (Los Angeles Times)
