Just Ban All Carry-Ons And Get It Over With
-
One of the good things about flying Virgin America was that the overhead bin space was generally adequate; they allowed carry-ons slightly larger than the big legacy airlines. Now that Alaska Airlines bought them and is merging them, both Alaska and the final Virgin America flights will shrink the carry-on maximum size by 32%. Why? The bins aren't changing. No, they probably just want to force even more passengers to check their bags. More fees for them. (Los Angeles Times)
