It's The Acid Talking
-
Yet another case of a crime being committed by someone who might blame the drugs he was on at the time is this one in which a man allegedly on LSD punched a 13-year-old girl in the face inside a RaceTrac convenience store in St. Petersburg while the girl's father was outside pumping gas. No provocation, no connection, no reason, just a punch, knocking the girl out. Other customers held him in the store while the cops were summoned. He later claimed to have no recollection of the incident and said he'd taken acid. But that can't be an excuse, can it? When you take a hallucinogen, you're responsible for what you do under the influence, whether you know you did it or not. (WFLA-TV/Tampa)
