Now we have to worry about paintball violence? Yes, and you can blame good intentions and one rapper, 21 Savage, who created the "paintballs up, guns down" campaign as a way to reduce real gun violence. It was fine until some of the kids targeted by the campaign decided to turn their paintball guns on innocent bystanders. And, yes, paintball can be dangerous, especially if you get hit in the eyes. Also, people who haven't replaced their real guns with paintball guns are prone to use those real guns on the paintball shooters. And cops might mistake a paintball gun for a real one, which is also a problem. Can't we all just, you know, not shoot anything with anything? (Washington Post)
