Here's one for you Jersey people: Taylor ham ice cream. (Okay, South Jersey, you can call it pork roll ice cream if you wish.) It was created by a publicity-seeking farm that sells ice cream in unusual flavors, and it combines the flavors of French toast and the New Jersey breakfast staple. And it's disgusting, but everyone in New Jersey is probably thinking, yeah, I'd try that. What would the local flavor be for your area? Fish taco ice cream for San Diego? Cheesesteak or scrapple in Philly? Lobstah in Maine? Lutefisk ripple or hotdish surprise in Minnesota? (Bergen Record)
