Canadian researchers have concluded that people who live in small towns are happier than people who live in more densely populated areas. No commute, no expensive housing, no problem. They also, interestingly enough, feel more a part of their communities, are less transient, and are more likely to attend church. Studies in the U.S. say similar things. Would you give up city life and move out to the sticks to seek happiness? (Washington Post)
