If He Could Play Just That Hole 18 Times Each Round, He'd Be A Hall Of Famer
-
I don't play golf, but in honor of the U.S. Open this weekend, here's a Minnesota golfer who achieved the unlikely: two holes-in-one at the same hole, two days apart. Okay, it was a par-3 hole, but still. More: On the second round, his playing partners tried to bet him ten bucks he couldn't do it again, but he thought that wasn't going to happen, so he asked for at least 500-1 odds, and they backed off. So he stepped up, swung, and nailed it again, because of course he did. He bought the traditional round of drinks for everyone in the clubhouse, but I think he'll be drinking free on this one for a long time. (Minneapolis Star Tribune)
