Admit it, when you hear something go wrong with a Tesla, there's the thought that the Tesla drivers somehow deserve it because they're generally rich and smug about their cars, kind of like Prius drivers. But that's unfair, and Teslas generally don't do what one did in West Hollywood, spontaneously burst into flames. That's not a feature they'll advertise. This car, driven by director Michael Morris, husband of actress Mary McCormack, was just driving along in the usual traffic when flames started coming out of it. We're going to see this on occasion with cars run by huge batteries. (KNBC-TV/Los Angeles)
