Uh... new research says that experts have up until now vastly underestimated the severity of shaking tall buildings will experience during an earthquake on the U.S. west coast. They've been building based on the wrong projections. Now, they say the ground shaking, the kind that can topple a tall building, will potentially be double what they've figured into the equation. That's... not good. (New York Times)
