Incidentally, Can't Think Of The North End Without Prince Spaghetti Day And 'An-tho-neeee'
-
Starbucks tried to open a location in Boston's North End and the locals revolted. That has some folks there wondering about whether the city should ban chain stores in historic neighborhoods. And, yeah, everyone loves going to those quaint areas with local shops, but if you live around there, you might want a Starbucks or Chipotle once in a while. Is "chain store" always bad? Can you legislate that? (Boston Herald)
