The Drops It CAN'T Survive Are All The Dropped Calls

A woman riding a theme park ride in Florida -- NO, WAIT, SHE DIDN'T FALL OFF! IT'S NOT ONE OF THOSE STORIES! -- dropped her iPhone. Okay, it's one of THOSE stories, an object flying off a ride. And it dropped 450 feet, and the reason you're reading about it is that the phone didn't break. It barely got a scratch, even though she didn't have it in a case. And because she had been videoing the ride, it recorded the entire plummet. That should be Apple's next commercial. I bet some of your listeners have stories about their phones breaking or somehow surviving a bad drop. (WKMG-TV/Orlando)
