You Want To Be Comfortable? That'll Cost Extra
-
The airline industry's love of add-on fees is well documented, but there's one they find people very, very willing to pay: premium economy, the seats with more legroom and sometimes some other perks, like priority boarding, guaranteed overhead bin space, and free drinks and snacks that regular economy doesn't offer. And as a fairly frequent flyer, I admit I do pay for the extra room, because when you have to haul back and forth across the country, that extra couple of inches for your legs makes a difference. I hate that not all seats are like that, but if I have to pay, I pay. And you? (Minneapolis Star Tribune)
