Everybody Wins With This Trade

The town in which I grew up was a typical New Jersey suburb, but it always had... um, well, racists in certain parts of town. So I wasn't completely shocked by this story about a Confederate flag suddenly flying over a closed banquet hall, but gratified that a Vietnam vet, a Marine, went over there and replaced the Confederate flag with an American flag. None of that "Southern heritage" BS here, okay? This was in New Jersey, not even South Jersey. And it means what it means, which is racism. That's the only reason someone would fly that flag in New Jersey. And at least one Marine vet took appropriate action. (Bergen Record)
