Bet The Bureaucrats Don't Live There
-
It's been going on for years and years: Every time New York gets heavy rain, a part of Queens gets inundated with raw sewage because the lines are old and the city just won't fix them, no matter how many complaints, no matter what the politicians say. This is an example of how bureaucrats and politicians don't care about their constituents, and why the constituents have to get tougher. The bureaucrats won't fix anything until the residents do something like, well, bringing tons of sewage to the bureaucrats' and politicians' houses. Like, pumping it right onto their lawns and driveways. Not that I'm advocating that. But that would get their attention. (New York Post)
