With baggage fees on the rise, here's a piece offering tips on packing everything into your carry-on. One tip: Roll your clothes, don't fold them, and stuff them into Ziplocs. Another: Don't pack toiletries, buy them at your destination (though do you really want to have to go right out and find a CVS the moment you get to your destination?). Another: Leave your laptop and tablet at home and just take your phone, and load it with ebooks so you don't have to carry reading material, which sounds great for those of you who don't have to WORK on the road but is impossible for me.
