This article is headlined "What makes chocolate chip cookies so addictive?," but they never really answer the question, not scientifically, at least. They suggest it might be psychological -- association with family, childhood, celebrations. Or maybe it's the ingredients, but if you're addicted to, say, sugar, there are other delivery methods; it could be the specific combination of sugar and fat. Or perhaps it's just that they taste good and we like things that taste good. Didn't need an article to tell me that. (CNN)
