Maybe People DON'T Need To Hear Your Opinion So Much After All
-
Who should get to post opinions on Facebook and Twitter and who shouldn't? That's the question arising from the uproar down in Seal Beach over an anti-Nike social media post by an elementary school principal, with a petition on Change.org aiming to get the school board to... well, it's unclear, but they're upset at her. And, okay, it was a stupid post -- it's one of those weird "cut up your Nikes to own the libs" things -- and it doesn't reflect well on her critical thinking abilities, but should she have a right to her opinion without fearing loss of her job? Does your answer change if you consider her post racist (she referred to Colin Kaepernick as a "thug")? Where's the line? (KTLA/Los Angeles)
