Keep Portland Wet

Hey, good news for people who want to go to Oregon and pee in public: a court has ruled that public urination isn't a crime in Oregon, because the law they've used to prevent it, an "offensive littering" law, doesn't apply. The court ruled that the law doesn't specifically mention urination, and that pee isn't "discarded," it's "discharged," which the law doesn't say. So expect the state legislature to make some changes to the laws, but until then, apparently, you can pee wherever you want, within reason. (The Oregonian/OregonLive.com)
