Oh, here we go again, a kid didn't make the high school soccer team so his mom sued the school district. A judge turned down a temporary restraining order. What was the contention? Well, he played JV last year, didn't make the varsity this year, and wasn't put back on the JV squad either, because they don't put juniors on the junior varsity. They claim age discrimination and even gender discrimination because female juniors do get to play on the girls' JV team. As the judge said, it's nice that the family is backing the kid, but nah.
