Punishing The World On His Way Out
-
Now that we know that the car explosion in Allentown was a murder-suicide, it raises the question of how horrible a person you have to be to not only kill your child and another guy, but do it in a way that also endangers innocent bystanders. In this case, the cops say the letters the guy left indicate that he intended to cause collateral damage, and his relatives say he may have wanted to kill his son because he "hated autism" (he suspected the child was autistic). One man, so much hatred. But all we heard before this was about how nobody suspected he was capable of this, which reminds us how little we know others. (Allentown Morning Call)
