Even Tougher Than 'Why Do You Want To Come To Our School'?
-
It is very hard to get into Oxford University, and one of the big hurdles is that they do an interview with questions designed to drive you crazy. They've released this year's annual list of sample interview questions, and they include stuff like asking earth sciences students to describe what a rock looks like, or theology students whether God exists. And those are the easy ones. How about asking medical students whether it's surprising that viruses cause human diseases? Or a music student to explain the different ways they listen to music? Anyway, maybe you can come up with your own really tough questions, like explaining why these questions are a good way to weed out college candidates. (The Guardian)
