Come Back When You Rent A Cessna

So a plane takes off from O'Hare to Chattanooga and halfway there, announces that it has to return to Chicago. Why? Here's where it gets really, um, odd: The reason given was that the plane was too big for the Chattanooga airport to handle. The plane in question was a 76-seat Embraer 175, which... isn't very large. United/SkyWest switched planes and the passengers made it, three hours late, on a 50-seat Bombardier CRJ 200, the regular aircraft. Chattanooga airport routinely handles MD-80s, which are 135-167 seats. Seems like an Embraer 175 would be easy for them. Doesn't make sense. (USA Today)
