Like A Museum, Except With Dessert

The Sugar Bowl, an ice cream parlor in Old Town Scottsdale, AZ, turns sixty years old on Christmas Eve, and if you've never been there, it's a place where the sundaes are good and they have lunch-type food if you want that but the selling point is that the place looks and feels exactly like 1958. Seriously, I've been there several times over the years and it's totally unchanged. (It also has a huge "Family Circus" connection: Bil Keane lived nearby and would mention the place all the time). There's a little, kind of sad arcade connected to the main room, but the real selling point is nostalgia. Use this to talk about the places in your market that haven't ever changed.
