What The World Really Needs Now. Really

This article about the lack of enough bathrooms for women in London's old West End theaters -- one for every 38 female audience members -- can be applied everywhere, and while women get the shorter end of this particular stick, there aren't enough restrooms for anyone in most venues. You'd think architects and building owners would fix this, considering that they're all, ostensibly, human, and know the need. It's become a movement (no pun intended) in the London theater scene, with a fundraiser (headed by Glenda Jackson and Joanna Lumley, no less) to build more women's toilets, especially in the oldest theaters that are historic venues protected by law, but this should be an issue everywhere. Or have you not had to stand on an interminable line at a theater or stadium to get to a stall or urinal? (BBC)
