This story from Georgia is like stories you can find from other states, and asks a simple question: If, as seems to be the case, 95% of cars pass their state air quality inspections, why test emissions anymore? Some states have dropped the tests. If cars made in the last, say, 20 years all comfortably pass the smog check, is it time to get rid of the test? (WSB-TV/Atlanta)
