A couple wants to marry, and they don't think the state of Utah should block them just because they're first cousins. Um. His mother is her father's sister. I'll wait while you work that out. Okay, then, the law blocks it because of the greater chance of genetic disorders in their children, if they have any. Colorado doesn't have a cousin-marrying law, so they went and got married there, and now want Utah to change its law. How much should the "ew" factor play into cases like this? Also, the news anchor in the video clip accompanying this report is named "Glen Mills," which is a suburb of Philadelphia, which amuses me and nobody else. (KTVX/Salt Lake City)
