At Least It Wasn't A Cemetery
-
A couple bought a new home and discovered a real problem: When the contractors built the house, they built it on top of piles of tree trunks. Someone just cut the trees down, threw some dirt on it, poured a concrete slab on top, and built the house. There were massive tree trunks under the house, discovered when a contractor came in to dig a pool, and now the house is unstable and it'll probably take a total teardown and rebuilding. Unfortunately, the builders blame the site developer, which went out of business, so who's going to pay for this is up in the air. Do you know what's under your house, or what short-cuts the builder of your house took? (WFTV/Orlando)
