There's A New Scandal Every Hour
-
Is this how it works? The three top state leaders of Virginia were all embroiled in scandal months ago -- Gov. Ralph Northam's yearbook, Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax accused of sexual assault, Attorney General Mark Herring's college blackface -- but now they're still in office and people have apparently forgotten, or don't care, because it's all slipped off the front page, though Fairfax's case is getting a little revival of late. In the age of Trump, does everything just eventually blow over, no matter how serious or trivial? Can you get away with anything if enough time goes by -- and it doesn't have to be that long -- and people move on to the next outrage? (Washington Post)
