You know how businesses have been doing "workplace wellness programs" to encourage employees to quit smoking, get exercise, eat better, all that kind of thing, using things like gift cards as incentives? And how that's supposed to save them money on insurance costs and help them have a healthier staff with less absenteeism? A Harvard study says they don't work.
