What Doesn't Kill You Just Makes You Nauseous
-
Here's a BBC feature examining just how filthy some common filthy eating habits like double-dipping your chip are. Double-dipping is indeed a way for bacteria to spread. Sharing ice cream is also unclean. Sharing popcorn? Not too bad. Blowing out the candles on a birthday cake is bad if you're sick, and it does spread bacteria, but if you're not sick, you're probably not going to spread much of anything. Five second rule? Nope, no seconds are safe. And overall, none of this is likely to kill you, so lighten up, Francis. (BBC)
