I feel for the sites that let people make t-shirts and mugs and stuff from photos and artwork they can upload, because how do you police what people create like that? Redbubble has to apologize because some clown used the service to offer clothing, including a miniskirt, with a photo of Auschwitz. That's awful, but is it Redbubble's fault if among the thousands of submissions they get, someone tried to slip one past them and succeeded? Or is it the site's duty to hire enough people to check every submission right away? Because that's also applicable to, say, Facebook. (Washington Post)
