Oh, You Want To Sit Together With Your Family? You Can Watch On TV
-
They do things a little differently in France, I guess, and so people who ordered tickets for Women's World Cup soccer are discovering that their families and friends may not be sitting together. They ordered, say, four tickets, and the system, after the purchase was done, put the seats in different rows. And the ticket system provider basically is telling the purchasers too bad, that's how it is. Who has a ticketing system that splits a purchase among rows and even sections? Who would expect them to do that? They expect a lot of people to be swapping seats in the venue just to have families be able to sit together; they WILL make exceptions for families with small children, but that's it. This is insanely silly. (Philadelphia Inquirer)
