Oh, And Earplugs. For You, Not Them

This was in a section of the channels 3 and 5 Phoenix website labeled "Top News Headlines," and as I noted on Twitter, I'm not certain it's news. In fact, I know it isn't, but I also know a topic you can talk about on the radio, and so here are three things to take on a road trip with kids, and there are actually six: car seat, headphones, books and educational toys, "Tossits" trash bags, Travel John (it is exactly what you think it is), and a tablet mount for their iPads. I'm thinking that what you need are iPads, headphones, the travel potty (I'm skeptical a kid can use one without a disaster occurring), and, most important, a load of snacks. But I'm not a parent.
