You Eat 25 Percent Of My Order, You Get 100 Percent Less Of A Tip. Worth It?
-
Remember last week when we had a story about a guy complaining that his DoorDash order was partially eaten by the delivery driver? It turns out that this is not as uncommon as you'd hope: Food distributor US Foods says that its study shows that 28% of delivery drivers admit that they've taken a bite of the food they deliver. They really do that. Other findings are that 17% of consumers complained that their orders arrive not hot enough. Do you use delivery services, and do these things (and other issues) make you think twice about using them? (Restaurant Business Online; thanks to Bruce Newbury for the link)
