It's A Vacation. So Vacate
-
I was previously unaware of something called the 2019 Vacation Confidence Index from Allianz, but here it is, with the highlight being that about half of Americans, more among Millennials, think it's totally OK to lie about cell phone and WiFi reception as an excuse not to check in to work. I'm fine with this, but, really, why lie? If you're on vacation, just don't check in. It's not your boss' business what you do when you're not on the clock, and if your employer interferes with your vacation, report 'em. When a quarter of respondents say that they're fine with working while away on vacation, maybe we're working too hard. (WTXF-TV/Philadelphia)
